Have you ever put off doing something just because you couldn’t decide between it and something else? That is what happened with me learning knitting and crochet.
I would see a cute crochet pattern and be like “ooh! I’ll learn crochet!” And then the next day I’d see an adorable knit sweater I wanted to make and…sigh…which to learn first?
About a month ago, I decided to buckle down and just learn them both one at a time, starting with crochet. I signed up for two Craftsy classes, one on crochet and the other on knitting. (They were having a good sale and I took it as a sign!)
Today, I am over here working on a post about the differences between knit and crochet to help YOU decide which one you should learn. It all really depends on what you like to make and whether you like the look of one over the other.
I have discovered I LOVE crochet and find it pretty easy and fun to do…knitting, not as much. But I am very glad I know how to do both so I can create the best fabrics for my yarn crafts and gifts.
Have you always wanted to learn to knit or crochet, but something has been throwing you off? Tell me about it in the comments!
