Sarah from Sew Me Happy shares this awesome idea on her blog. Did you know you can make your very own sewing labels? You can and it is as simple as printing something (with a few extra steps of course!)
First she lays out a simple text design using a photo program and sets it up to print a bunch on a page. Then she takes a piece of fabric and irons a backing to it (you can do this with freezer paper – it has wax on just one side.)
Then she prints the label design onto her tricky paper-backed fabric with her ink jet printer. To make it colorfast and permanent, she sets the printed fabric in a bath of Bubble Jet Set.
