Another one from the FAQ pile:
How to make stickers!
Well, there are few ways to make stickers, and this one is definitely my favorite! This nifty device costs less than a kids’ ticket at the matinee with popcorn. It is small and cute and sits on your desk like a tape dispenser. It lets turn pretty much anything that will fit through it into a sticker.
What is this magical tool? It is a Xyron 150 Create-A-Sticker!
Here is how to make stickers at home with it:
1. Print small sticker designs and cut them out. Choose something less than 1.5 inches for this particular sticker maker.
(Tip: You can find tons of trendy free sticker and bottle cap printables online that work perfectly. The ones featured in this tutorial are free bottle cap printables of the new Cinderella movie and I punched them out with a 1 3/8 inch circle punch, but you can easily cut out the 1 inch circles with a scissors.)
2. Place your cut out design in the top of the sticker maker. It will disappear…don’t worry – that is ok! If you are doing super small cut outs, place them side by side to make most efficient use of the adhesive cartridge.
3. Now find the little tape tab sticking out of the other side of the sticker maker. Pull it until you see your design come out. It is enveloped in plastic which is sort of like magic.
And peel off the top tape!
Voila! It is officially a sticker!
Boy I wish I had one of these when I was a young sticker fan. What a fun gift for a teen or anyone really!
