Check out this super simple tip I shared on My Carolina Today this week…
Making your own cleaning wipes save a ton of money and lets you better control what chemicals you put into your environment. Here is how you can make your very own natural cleaning wipes for pennies on the dollar!
How To Make Homemade Cleaning Wipes
First choose a quality paper towel that holds up well to being wet. Bounty is a good brand to try, but you can experiment with others until you find one you like.
With a sharp knife, cut your paper towel in half as shown. You will need to hold the paper towel roll tightly as you cut…my other hand is taking the picture here!
You may find some “fuzzies” on the cut part of the paper towel. Brush these off and throw them away to prevent lint in your finished product.
Next, mix up a DIY cleaning wipes recipe.
Once you have mixed up the cleaning formula, pour it over the half paper towel and store in the airtight container for a few hours or overnight. Once the paper towel roll is thoroughly saturated, you can remove the cardboard center and use as needed. The wipes will conveniently pull from the center which makes them super easy to use.
