Michelle shared this adorable and little kid-friendly craft idea on her blog, Rust and Sunshine. Use old toilet paper rolls to create perfect heart-shaped stamps! She shows how to shape the stamp and use tape to secure it. (As well as her completely adorable little guy using the stamps!)
You can use these to keep a little kid busy with paint, make a sweet Valentine for the Grandparents, or even more grown up things like decorating wrapping paper or even fabric (just use a fabric paint and set as the instructions on the back suggest.)

I created a super cute little mini bag pattern that is great for beginners learning how to sew and quilt. It is a simple little reversible tote that has a simple pieced quilt top and is bound together with bias tape. The tutorial and links cover English Paper Piecing, Making your own bias tape, and other cool (but easy) sewing tricks. If you are already an expert sewist, you will love this easy sewing project too…the pattern is simple so you can REALLY get creative embellishing . (It’s also a pretty good “stash buster” to use up a few of your favorite scrap fabrics from past projects.) Fun, right?!
The project is available for free on The Sewing Loft right now. Yay!
