Crafts With Punches
Crafts with punches are quick and easy and the results look pretty every time. Here are a few of my favorite craft ideas to try with your craft punches.
1. Glow in the dark and chore chart stars
Use glow in the dark duct tape and a star punches in different sizes. I have a large star punch I love to use (from Martha Stewart) and a tiny one I just picked up the other day from EK Success. So fun and easy!
2. Gift labels and tags
Punch out a quick gift tag from the prettiest paper in your papercraft stash. Circle punches and even gift-tag shaped punches are widely available at craft and hobby stores in lots of sizes.
3. Chalkboard and dry-erase labels for cups and glasses
These are great for a party, but also for every day to prevent the dirtying of more than one glass per day. (My kids like to take a sip, forget which glass was theirs, and get a new glass like a HUNDRED times a day! What is that? lol)
Use this cheap and easy method to make your own custom stickers.
5. Peek-a-boo photo cards
Fold your cardstock or start with a pre-folded card. Using your craft shape punch, punch a shape out of the front. Glue a picture behind it on the inside cover. Cover the inside back with a patterned piece of paper cut to the size of half the card and trim the edges of the entire folded card for a clean, perfect edge. Instant pretty and a fun, 5 minute craft!
